Enjoy the little moments....

Hello lovelies...

Happy Sunday blessings.
How are you all?

I'd love to say I'm sitting out in the sunny garden looking at the beautiful
Spring blossom and chilling with a nice cuppa....

Alas no...

My lovely friend Fibromyalgia has other ideas today and also
it is absolutely tipping it down with lashings of cold wet rain...

Now don't get me wrong,
I know we need the rain and it is April...
but my goodness it just hasn't stopped here in the Fens!
and this little soggy bunny is now completely fed up with it!!!!!!!!!

So I'm sitting here (with the fire on I might add!) and day dreaming...

of happier times...

and brighter sunnier fun days...

I'm writing lovely doodles in my new book that I've just covered
with vintage fabrics and trimmings..

and I'm indulging in a little hooky loveliness...

I'm also trying to cheer myself up by having a browse through my
vintage albums of goreous costumes that
I have found whilst browsing...

Is it working you ask?

Mmmmm...a little...
I'm a girl who just doesn't do doom and gloom and grey rainy days very well.

I like my days to be a little sunnier!

Do you feel the same?

If you do, share a little giggle with me...

Happy Sunday blessings my lovelies!!!

Sorry you are out of sorts but still wise enough to concentrate on things that make you happy. Hope the sun arrives very soon.

Hi Tilly, hope the weather has been a little kinder to you this week. There has been a little less rain here but it is still very cold. More March than May.
Love your notebook and agree with its sentiments.
Those photos are great.
The one of the men reminded me -
Mum used to knit a lot of our things, including swimming costumes. I hated how mine stretched and almost reach my knees when wet and I don't think my Dad was very enamoured with his knitted trunks either!
Hope you have a good and pain-free weekend.

Hey Tilly, a very late comment, but had to say how much I love the book cover, gorgeous combo of fabric and trims......

Sorry to hear you're not feeling so well, I hope you are much better now. But I have to say lashings of cold, wt rain tipping down sounds wonderful to me.....crazy I know!!

Perfect for sitting by the fire and doing a spot of crochet I think.....mind you I do like nice sunny days as well.
